The Manager will introduce our newest hires from the job search recently conducted.

8.      Operational Report

The Manager will report on items of operational interest.

 

9.      3rd Quarter Expenditure Report

The Manager will provide details on the fiscal status of the District.

 

ACTION         10. MVCAC Board Meeting, Monterey, April 30 – May 2

The Manager will request travel approval for staff to this meeting.

 

ACTION         11. WNV Awareness Week

The State Legislature has declared April 21 – 25, 2008, inclusive, as West Nile Virus and Mosquito and Vector Control Awareness Week.  The Board will approve a similar resolution.

 

12.  Lab Staffing

The Manager will discuss and explore the opportunities to develop the lab and surveillance capabilities with the Board.

 

13.  Adjournment

Adjourn the meeting of the Board of Trustees to reconvene on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, 7:00 p.m. in the Delta Vector Control District Boardroom, 1737 W. Houston Ave., Visalia, CA.
