3.      Abatement Hearing Cornelius Anker

The Board will hold an Abatement Hearing with regard to the property known as APN# 141-080-020 by the Tulare County Assessor.

 

ACTION         4.   Approval of August Bills

 

ACTION         5.   Approval of September Payroll

 

6.      Public Forum

Public Comment

 

7.      Operational Report

The Manager will report on items of operational interest.

 

8.      West Nile Virus Update

The Manager will report on the status of West Nile virus in the local, regional, and statewide areas.

 

ACTION         9.   Hayashida Architects

The Manager will present a contract from Leland Saylor along with an estimate for work by Hayashida that will allow for the producing of a Concept Estimate for the laboratory.

 

10.  SCI

The Manager will present the Official Survey to be mailed to constituents as well as discuss the timeline for completion.

 

ACTION         11. CSDA Annual Conference, Indian Wells, September 21-24.

The Manager will request approval for himself and Sheri Davis, Administrative Assistant to attend.

           

12.  CalPERS Employer Rates

The Manager will discuss Board approved smoothing modifications.

 

13.  Reduction of Ad Valorem Property Tax Revenue Apportionment

The Manager will report on the Tulare County Auditor’s letter to Special Districts dated August 20, 2009.

 

14.  Adjournment

Adjourn the meeting of the Board of Trustees to reconvene on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, 7:00 p.m. in the Delta Vector Control District Boardroom, 1737 W. Houston Ave., Visalia, CA
